Blackpool's Premier League fate will be decided on Sunday when Ian Holloway's side travel to newly-crowned champions Manchester United. The Seasiders are currently 18th in the table, level on points with Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic. Their aim is to secure a better result than two of the three sides immediately above them in the league table. A caveat to Sunday's results could be Blackpool's stronger goals scored compared to their rivals, with it a possibility that said column could come into play. Much of the talk in the lead up to the game at Old Trafford has surrounded manager Sir Alex Ferguson's team selection.
It has been suggested that Ferguson could make wholesale changes ahead of the club's UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona on 28th May.
Farewell

However, Ferguson has confirmed that the likes of Darren Fletcher, Paul Scholes, Anderson, Dimitar Berbatov, Patrice Evra and Edwin van der Sar will all play versus Blackpool. And those personnel will be eager to fight for a place in Ferguson's starting XI at Wembley, whilst the club will want finish the season unbeaten at Old Trafford in the league.

The fixture will mark a final appearance at Old Trafford for 40-year-old goalkeeper Van der Sar, who, after yet another marvellous season, will retire in the summer.

Blackpool, meanwhile, should have a full-strength squad for their trip to the Theatre of Dreams. Holloway's men are unbeaten in four matches having ended a run of three straight draws with a thrilling 4-3 scalp of Bolton last time out.
Possible starting XIs:

Man Utd: Van der Sar, Evans, Vidic, Smalling, Evra, Fletcher, Scholes, Anderson, Nani, Owen, Berbatov.

Blackpool: Gilks, Crainey, Eardley, Evatt, Baptiste, Southern, Vaughan, Adam, Taylor-Fletcher, Campbell, Puncheon.
